| Be prepared to be pampered!
Industrial, Retro, Athletic, Traditional, whatever your look and personality we can capture your image with Pizzazz! Our senior sessions truly capture your unique look. M.C. Photographics is 100% digital! This means great additional features for our clients. Digital photography takes your images to the next level with digital effects, in-house retouching, instant proofs or yearbook photos, and online proofing! See your images larger than life and edit your images with our digital projection system!
Our studio has six different indoor sets, or choose from multiple outdoor sets on our three acre portrait park. This year we are proud to introduce two new outdoor set designs. Our Southwestern set incorporates arched doorways, unique shapes and stucco textured walls! Do you have a country flare in your look? Try our new western set, complete with barn wood, glass pane windows, hay and an old wagon wheel!
Clothing
Bring a variety of outfits from formal to casual, traditional to funky. Try to match specific outfits with specific props you might bring (such as your pet, car, sports equipment etc.) Solid colors photograph better than patterns, especially with traditional poses. But please wear what you feel comfortable in, these are your (and your family's) Senior Portraits!
Yearbook Shots
Yearbook shots are only from the chest up and work best with medium to darker tones, long sleeves and no low scoop necklines.
Props:
Please bring props that portrays what you enjoy doing at this time in your life! The sky's the limit on the this one, nothing is too crazy! We've had everything from dogs and horse to motorcycles, and cars! Sports equipment & musical instruments are also great props.
Hair
Your senior portrait session is not the time to be experimenting with new hair styles (or colors). If you do get it cut, try to do it at least a couple weeks before your session so you get used to the way you want it styled! If you want to change styles during the session (for a specific look or outfit) that's OK!
Makeup:
Ladies, wear makeup that is natural for you. If you are going to change your makeup during your session, try to wear the lightest (or most natural) early in your session and more as the session progresses.
Blemishes:
If you wake up with an unsightly blemish the morning of your session, don't panic! Remember that up to eight images you choose to order includes minor retouching. But if you feel you MUST use cover-up, try not to cake it on too heavily, we'll take care of it!
Guys:
A fresh shave looks the best! If you wear a mustache or beard, please have it trimmed.
Music:
Bring your favorite CD! It is amazing how music works to help relax you!
Who to Bring:
If you have a best friend or special someone you'd like to bring along to help you relax, go for it! We'll include them in a few of your images if you like. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to come along and get a closer look. Please keep in mind, this is a Senior Session not a Family Session. For information about Family Portraiture, just ask us!
Reflect your personality and interest!
Our job is to create images that reflect you as a unique person! M.C. Photographics encourages you to bring sports uniforms, musical instruments, or anything that reflects who you are.
Guarantee:
At M.C. Photographics we pride ourselves on creating quality images. We are truly interested in having satisfied customers. If you are not pleased with the images from your portrait session we will re-do your session free of charge.
