Will you send us out a price list? No, we don’t send, e mail or give specifics on our prices because it would be like trying to explain the quality or subject matter of a photograph with just words. I would rather show you our work and services first hand so that you have a better understanding of the quality of the work and how we are different than any other photographer. We also want to meet you and find out more about your wedding and your vision for your wedding photography. Your photography is such an important decision. I suggest you should look at the portfolios of several photographers and also meet them (because you will be spending your entire wedding day with that person) and educate yourself first before making a decision based solely on price. How much does Wedding photography cost? There is no average cost to wedding photography. Wedding photography differs greatly in the photographer’s experience, quality of the images, quantity of photographs and how the photography will be presented in the final product. It is difficult to compare photographers, “apples to apples” because artistic style, quality and pricing structure differs and there is usually nothing similar to compare each other with. A good wedding photographer is about 80% people skills and artistry and about 20% photography. Just because your photographer takes an accurate exposure and offers huge quantity of photographs does not make them a good photographer or an artist in their field. In my opinion a good wedding photographer sees and feels emotions, takes a genuine interest in people and creates quality images that will make you remind you of every special moment of your wedding. Choose a photographer who you feel comfortable with, whose work moves you and one that is within you budget. What percentage of our wedding budget should be spent on photography? That’s a personal issue. However, I suggest you ask yourself what is most important to you and spend your wedding money accordingly. Keep in mind that when your wedding is over that most tangible thing you have to remember that special day is your wedding photography. So, what does M.C. Photographics have to offer? When you choose our services you are not just purchasing a set number of hours, specific number of photographs or albums, you are investing in our entire services. These services include the amount of time you’re spending with us planning, before your wedding, all that it takes to create the images during your wedding and the hand processing and custom enhancing your photographs and albums right to the time of delivery. This amount of time and personal attention cannot, and is not expressed in a price list, it is just how we choose to work, what we feel separates us from our competition and proves our dedication to our photography and most importantly, to our clients. Will you provide copyright released CD of the wedding photos? Yes, the copyright release comes with some of our top wedding packages or they are available for purchase. Although we will sell you the copyright release to our images would prefer that the images are retouched and enhance printed at a professional color lab. We are always concerned about the quality of the final print.
